Fans of NFL star Travis Kelce and music icon Taylor Swift are buzzing with speculation after Kelce appeared noticeably tanned on the latest episode of New Heights, the podcast he co-hosts with his brother Jason Kelce.
Though the couple has been keeping an exceptionally low profile since the Kansas City Chiefs‘ Super Bowl loss in February, Swifties believe the athlete’s glowing appearance might be hinting at a sun-soaked getaway.
In this week’s episode, NFL Hall of Famer Joe Thomas, a Cleveland Browns legend, joined the Kelce brothers for an entertaining chat. But while fans appreciated the football nostalgia, it was Travis‘ noticeably bronzed complexion that stole the spotlight online.
“Travy is looking TANNED and happy,” one fan commented after the episode announcement was posted Tuesday evening.
Another joked: “Travis, share the tan routine please.”
Change of scenery raises questions about Kelce’s whereabouts
While Kelce kept the conversation professional on the podcast, his setting was not the same as his usual Kansas City mansion backdrop.
The change in location didn’t go unnoticed by eagle-eyed fans, who were quick to note that the new surroundings added to the mystery of where Kelce might be currently staying.
Kelce and Swift were last confirmed to be together during a ski trip in Montana, a location that offered the couple a quiet escape from public attention. Outside of a brief spotting in New York City, they’ve managed to avoid the cameras – a surprising feat given the intense media attention on their relationship since they went public in September 2023.
Though the new podcast episode gave no confirmation of a vacation, Kelce‘s sunkissed skin has many assuming the couple traded snowy slopes for tropical beaches in recent weeks.
Kelce‘s bronzed appearance comes after a period of contemplation earlier this year. Following the Chiefs‘ Super Bowl defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles, retirement rumors swirled around the 35-year-old tight end.
However, Kelce eventually revealed on New Heights that he wasn’t ready to walk away from the game he loves.
