Netflix hat eine Dokumentation über Vinícius Jr. (24) gedreht. Am 15. Mai soll der Film auf der Streaming-Plattform erscheinen. Der Titel: „Der tanzende Stürmer“. Bei der Produktion wurden Netflix allerdings nicht alle Türen geöffnet …
[–>Denn: Der Film soll nicht nur den Weg zum großen Durchbruch des Brasilianers zeigen. Auch die rassistischen Anfeindungen werden thematisiert. Wie L‘ Équipe berichtet verweigerte deswegen der FC Valencia dem Produktionsteam den Zugang zum Stadion Mestalla.
Rückblick: Im Mai 2023 war Vinícius Jr. beim LaLiga-Spiel in Valencia rassistisch beleidigt worden. Die Szene eskalierte, ein Fan wurde später deswegen verurteilt – ein Novum im spanischen Fußball.
Damals erklärte der Flügelflitzer: „Ich sehe es schon seit Langem, und jedes Mal werde ich trauriger und habe weniger Lust zu spielen.“

Neben der Doku gibt es noch weitere gute Nachrichten für Vinícius Jr.! Laut „La Ser“ soll Real seinen Vertrag vorzeitig verlängern wollen. Aktuell hat er bis Sommer 2027 bei den Los Blancos unterschrieben. Die Klub-Bosse wollen ihn, den Berichten zufolge, jetzt schon bis 2029 oder 2030 binden wollen.
Klar ist: Aktuell gehört „Vini“ zu den ganz Großen im Weltfußball!
