Colorado TABOR refund
According to the Taxpayer Bill of Rights (TABOR), Colorado residents can receive:
- $800 for single filers
- $1600 for joint filers
Payments are expected between March and June 2025, depending on processing times.
California’s “First the Family” Economic Support Pilot Program
This pilot program offers $725 per month to qualifying California families, including:
- Low-income households with children aged 0 to 5
- Must reside in selected ZIP codes in Los Angeles, San Bernardino or Fresno counties
- The payments are part of a broader effort to test universal basic income and its future expansion is currently being assessed.
Pennsylvania Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program
This long-running program offers up to $800 in rebates for:
- Older adults (65 years or older), widows/widowers (50 years or older) or adults with disabilities (18 years or older)
- Income limits apply: up to $35,000 a year for homeowners and $15,000 a year for renters
