There was an awkward moment at the Time 100 Gala. Blake Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, were attending the big event. The magazine ranked Lively as one of the most influential people, which earned her the right to attend.
However, Blake made some comments about her legal battle with Justin Baldoni in her speech, which many celebrities and some fans did not like, as they felt it was not the right time to bring up such a topic at a gala honoring influential people.
Stiff dance moves followed Jennifer Lopez’s tired performance
Blake revealed that her mother, Willie Elain McAlpin, was assaulted by a “work acquaintance“. Lively explained that her mother, who never received justice, “hid her raw and undeserved shame” after the incident, which occurred years before she was born when she was the mother of three young children.
So far, Justin Baldoni has not commented on these remarks, and the legal battle between them remains heated and shows no signs of ending.
“It’s a ridiculous joke. She shouldn’t be here. She has no influence over anything,” said a political commentator for the Daily Mail.
Despite the hatred, Lively and Reynolds had a spectacular time and, to further fuel their haters, made some affectionate gestures like the loving couple they are during Wrexham‘s game in Wales on Saturday as they seek their third straight promotion.

Ryan Reynolds has shown his most charismatic and loyal side with his Wrexham team, always supporting them and the project is at the top as they have already secured promotion to the Championship, one step away from the Premier League.
Ahead of the big game, the couple shared an Instagram story showing their support for the team.
“Come on boys @wrexham_afc,” Lively wrote under the picture, which showed them posing in front of the team’s logo.
Things turned out pretty well for the couple, but we’ll have to wait for news on the war between Justin and Lively. It seems they still have a few more stories to tell, but for now, Blake has publicly addressed the issue and received mixed reactions.
