Since Tom Brady became a minority investor in the Las Vegas Raiders, many experts predicted that his direct influence on the team would be evident. From one year to the next, a series of precise decisions have made it seem like the team is on the right track.

There will be criticism, but one person very close to the former quarterback throughout his career, Rob Gronkowski, has come forward to say that the “energy” Brady will bring will be positive for the entire organization.

Rob Gronkowski shared his thoughts on Tom Brady’s role with the Raiders

For the legendary tight end of the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tom Brady‘s “aura” will be enough to elevate the Raiders’ level, and the former player will contribute a work ethic that will bring them closer to playing in a Super Bowl.

“I mean just the aura that he is going to bring to the table. That’s what he did whenever he stepped into the building, whatever team he was on. He only played on two teams, but it didn’t matter!” he said in an exclusive interview with The Mirror.

“That aura that he brought, the intensity that he brought to the table, the leadership that he brought to the table – I am sure he is going to do the same exact thing as the owner, especially here in an energetic city here in Las Vegas. And he has tons of energy and he is always ready to go. So it’s a perfect fit for him,” he added.

Although the Raiders already know what it’s like to be Super Bowl champions, they haven’t lifted the Vince Lombardi Trophy since 1984, so Tom Brady, and especially the team, will have a lot of work ahead.

Regarding the complexity of winning a Super Bowl, Gronkowski said, “I mean, it’s tough to win a Super Bowl, so I make no promises in that game and I’m just sure playing with him so long is that he’s going to make no promises either. I can’t speak for him, but he’s a guy that’s going to put the work in and get the program to go in the right direction so they have the best chance to win a Super Bowl.”

The NFL Draft just concluded, where the Raiders selected Ashton Jeanty with their first pick, but during the offseason, they appointed John Spytek as the new General Manager and hired Pete Carroll as the new Head Coach. These are moves that will undoubtedly deliver positive results for the franchise.
