Giganti v kleci. 150kilový obr úřadoval, legendu utloukl i se zlomenou rukou

Což o to, žádná dlouhá zápletka se v polských Gliwicích rozhodně neočekávala, finální výsledek ale pravděpodobně předčil veškerá očekávání. Osmačtyřicetiletý veterán Pudzianowski, jenž má za sebou šestnáctiletou praxi v profesionálním světě MMA, totiž bleskurychle skončil na lopatkách. O třicet kilo těžší Brit (151 kg) si počínal fenomenálně a díky hrubé síle abnormálně svalnatého rivala jednoduše utloukl. Zkrátka se s ním vůbec nemazal.

Hall uspěl až s nečekaným přehledem, byť byl před duelem v roli velkého outsidera. Nedávno sice v kleci porazil dvojici protivníků, jenomže teprve nyní se postavil tváří v tvář skutečnému bojovníkovi. V jeho neprospěch přitom hrála také upravená pravidla, dle nichž se mělo zápasit na dvě kola po čtyřech minutách. Stačila však pouhá půlminuta.

„Jsem velmi šťastný, že jsem vyhrál. Třicet sekund šílenství? Jsem spokojený a beru to. Mám tu nejtvrdší zaznamenanou ránu na planetě, a pokud ti něco takového přistane na tváři, tak padneš,“ uváděl sedmatřicetiletý Hall, bývalý nejsilnější muž světa, který na mrtvý tah dokázal zvednout půl tuny.

Brit rovněž přiznal, že si v souboji zlomil ruku. „Došlo k tomu, když jsem Mariusze udeřil do hlavy,“ přiblížil a omluvil se také za několik úderů do zátylku, které po boji marně reklamoval i polský veterán.

Rozradostněný pořízek, jenž před lety dokonce atakoval 200kilovou hranici tělesné hmotnosti, načež rapidně zhubnul, tak nečekaně jednoduše ovládl jednu z jeho životních výzev. „Pokud se nebojíte a nejste nervózní, pak něco není v pořádku. Já nastoupil proti Mariuszovi, který má 26 profesionálních zápasů a pětkrát se stal nejsilnějším mužem světa. A dostat se s někým takovým do klece, když mám za sebou jediný zápas? Masakr,“ pravil Hall.

Logicky se nabízí otázka, zda tento urostlý chlapík bude s bojovými sporty pokračovat. MMA se věnuje už nějakou dobu a má za sebou i tréninky po boku hvězdného prozatímního šampiona organizace UFC v těžké váze Toma Aspinalla. „Pokud bude odveta s Mariuszem, tak ji vezmu. Já ale nemám žádné ambice být tím nejlepším v KSW. To prostě není pro mě. Chci se jen přijít pobavit. Chci bojovat se šílenci ze světa,“ nastínil Hall svou cestu.

Bývalý strongman Eddie Hall šokoloval diváky a ukončil legendárního Mariusze Pudzianowskiho.

Spekuluje se však o souboji s bývalým šampionem UFC v těžké váze Brockem Lesnarem, jenž byl v minulosti potrestán za užívání dopingu, či legendárním Conorem McGregorem, někdejším dvojnásobným králem. „S Conorem bych si to rád dal, náš váhový rozdíl by byl naprosto komický. Bylo by to nebezpečné,“ poukazuje Hall na irského rivala, který drtivou většinu kariéry nastupoval v lehké (70 kg) a pérové váze (66 kg).

Nabízí se ještě jeden zvučný kalibr – Kamerunec Francis Ngannou, jenž si po odchodu z UFC vyzkoušel i dva boxerské souboje. „S kluky z PFL jsme v kontaktu. A pokud by byli ochotni do toho jít, tak žádný problém. Můžu říct, že právě od této chvíle o to rozhodně máme zájem,“ přiznává pro server mmafighting.com Martin Lewandowski, šéf KSW.
