Své první krůčky na bruslích udělal právě v Nitře, kde se v tamním hokejovém klubu rozvíjel až do roku 2008. Jakožto velký brankářský talent se objevil také v mládežnických reprezentačních výběrech, po šanci na mistrovství světa do 18 let nastoupil v roce 2007 také na šampionátu dvacítek, v téže sezoně si odbyl i debut v seniorském nároďáku Slovenska.

Poté působil ve Slovanu Bratislava, s nímž v sezoně 2011/12 získal mistrovský titul. Zachytal si i v prestižní KHL, ale protože šanci dostal jen ve čtyřech zápasech, zamířil do Nových Zámků, které tehdy hrály maďarskou ligu.
Nikdy však za ně nenastoupil. V rámci hostování vypomohl ale třikrát Třinci a poté se přesunul do Německa, odkud se po roce vrátil na Slovensko do Dukly Trenčín. Tam zářil, když s úspěšností 93,4 procenta zákroků jasně opanoval brankářské statistiky. Po účasti na mistrovství světa, které se tehdy hrálo v Praze a Ostravě, se domluvil s Olomoucí, kde se stal díky famózním výkonům klubovou ikonou.
Přízeň tamních fanoušků si zasloužil i díky pozápasovým děkovačkám. Často říkával, že už neví, co vymýšlet, aby se lidé bavili, ale pokaždé na něco přišel.

V Olomouci zažil i chvíle hrůzy, kdy během přípravného zápasu před sezonou 2021/2022 byl bruslí zasažen do krku a bojoval o život. Po okamžité operaci se jeho stav stabilizoval. Léčba trvala dlouho, ale vrátil se znovu jako král. Skvělé výkony ho opět dostaly do reprezentace. Zahrál si s ní pak na olympiádě v čínském Pekingu v roce 2022 a dosáhl tam svého největšího úspěchu, bronzové medaile.
V minulé sezoně si v předkole play off proti Liberci poranil tříslo a kvůli jeho léčbě v té právě končící se přes optimistické prognózy do brány už nedostal.
