Ben Affleck left Jason and Travis Kelce in disbelief during a recent appearance on the New Heights podcast after revealing that a casual game of catch with Tom Brady ranks among the best moments of his life-second only to the birth of his children.

While discussing favorite sports memories, Affleck told the Kelce brothers that an impromptu session running routes with the seven-time Super Bowl champion was unforgettable.

“To this day, aside from the birth of my children, that was the greatest day,” said Affleck, who shares three kids-Violet Anne, Seraphina Rose, and Samuel-with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner.

The 52-year-old actor said the chance encounter happened while he and Brady were vacationing in the same place. Brady asked if he’d be up for playing catch, and Affleck eagerly agreed, even if he doubted his own athleticism.

Affleck recalls Super Bowl-style throws from Brady

“At first he’s like, ‘Okay, go out here, turn around,'” Affleck recalled. “I fix to look at him, he’s been waiting 45 minutes. I caught [the ball] because I was afraid of breaking my nose more than anything else.”

Eventually, Brady upped the stakes and told him to imagine it was “fourth and 18 with 23 seconds left” in the Super Bowl. Affleck ran the route as fast as he could-though he joked that Brady probably saw it in slow motion.

“I reach out and I have to go all out extend [and] I f—- catch it,” Affleck said proudly, prompting cheers from the Kelce brothers.

Affleck later described the moment as a real-life Sandlot experience, saying, “It was like the nicest thing anyone’s ever done for me, and I lived a full life of dreams.”

He previously called Brady “the greatest football player that ever lived” during a 2020 appearance on ESPN’s Get Up.
