Elf Klubs kämpfen gegen den ersten Abstiegsrang. Der Bergische HC steht bereits als Rückkehrer in die Daikin Handball-Bundesliga fest, die HSG Konstanz als Absteiger auch.
Um den zweiten Aufstiegsplatz balgen sich GWD Minden, der TV Hüttenberg und mit Abstrichen HBW Balingen-Weilstetten. Minden muss Freitag (19.30 Uhr, live bei Dyn/Anzeige) im direkten Duell in Hüttenberg ran. Im Hintergrund basteln die Ostwestfalen offenbar an einem prominenten Deal.

Torhüter-Rochade im Handball
Nach Informationen von SPORT BILD sind die Mindener an der Verpflichtung von Tibor Ivanisevic (34) interessiert. Der Serbe steht aktuell bei Frisch Auf Göppingen unter Vertrag. Bei GWD stehen Malte Semisch (32, Vertrag bis 2027) und Lucas Grabitz (23, Vertrag bis 2026) für die Kiste im Kader.
Denkbar sind zwei Varianten. Minden könnte ab Sommer mit drei Torhütern planen, was wiederum schwer für Trainer Aaron Ziercke zu moderieren wäre, wenn alle drei Keeper auf Einsatz-Zeiten pochen.
[–>Zweite und höchstwahrscheinliche Variante: Minden trennt sich vorzeitig von Grabitz, die vorzeitige Vertragsauflösung ist bereits beschlossene Sache. Hintergrund: Grabitz beendet mit erst 23 Jahren im Sommer sein Medizin-Studium, er strebt die Fachbereiche Orthopädie und Unfall-Chirurgie an.
Grabitz: „Letzter Teil des Studiums ist das sogenannte Praktische Jahr. Das ist ein Vollzeit-Job und nicht mehr mit Profi-Handball vereinbar.“ Und wie hat der Torwart das alles in so jungen Jahren so früh geschafft? Grabitz: „Ich wurde früher eingeschult, habe mit 16 Abitur gemacht und habe dann in Hannover angefangen, Medizin zu studieren.“
Der zukünftige Arzt steht aber weiterhin auch als Handball-Torwart bei anderen Klubs auf dem Zettel. Drittligist TuS Vinnhorst gilt als ein heißer Interessent. Nach Informationen von SPORT BILD steht der Stadtteil-Klub aus Hannover kurz vor der Verpflichtung des Rückraumspielers Fynn Hermeling (22) von Zweitligist TuSEM Essen.
