Bayern-Star Thomas Müller (35) zieht im Interview mit bundesliga.com eine Bilanz der vergangenen Jahre – und teilt dabei auch gegen einige seiner ehemaligen Trainer aus.
[–>Müller: „Wir sind durch mehrere verschiedene Übergangsphasen gegangen, so fühlt es sich zumindest an. Seit Pep Guardiola hatte es in der Kombination zwischen Trainer und Mannschaft nicht mehr richtig ‚Klick‘ gemacht.“
Eine bemerkenswerte Aussage! Guardiola trainierte den FC Bayern von 2013 bis 2016 – holte drei Meistertitel, zwei DFB-Pokalsiege, erreichte dreimal das Champions-League-Halbfinale. Danach begann für Müller ein wahres Trainer-Karussell.
Sieben Cheftrainer hat der Ur-Bayer seitdem erlebt: Carlo Ancelotti, Jupp Heynckes, Niko Kovač, Hansi Flick, Julian Nagelsmann, Thomas Tuchel – und jetzt Vincent Kompany.
Selbst bei Triple-Trainer Hansi Flick sei nicht alles harmonisch gewesen: „Wir hatten mit Hansi Flick zwar eine sehr erfolgreiche Zeit, aber dabei gab es auch einige Reibereien zwischen dem Trainer und der Vereinsführung“, sagt Müller – und spielt damit auf den Zoff zwischen Flick und Ex-Sportvorstand Hasan Salihamidzic hinsichtlich Kaderzusammenstellung und Transferaktivitäten an.
Müller bemängelt die Zeit zwischen Guardiola und Kompany und lobt dabei indirekt den Belgier: „Dieses komplett harmonische Bild, das wir diese Saison jetzt wieder gesehen haben, diese Einheit zwischen Trainer, Mannschaft und Verein – das war nie so richtig da.“
Besonders gefällt Müller vor allem eines beim Belgier: „Genau das, was Management und Fans bei Bayern sehen wollen: geradliniger, aktiver Angriffsfußball.“

Müller steht inzwischen bei unglaublichen 748 Pflichtspielen für den FCB. Doch im Sommer ist Schluss: Der Vertrag läuft aus, er wird nicht verlängert.
Nach 17 Jahren als Profi und unzähligen Titeln verlässt die Vereinslegende die Säbener Straße. Ob er noch einmal im Ausland angreift oder direkt die Fußballschuhe an den Nagel hängt? Unklar.
