Cicinho foi enfático ao eleger Abel Ferreira como nome ideal para assumir a seleção brasileira, após o novo declínio de Carlo Ancelotti. No programa “Jogo Aberto” desta quinta (01), o comentarista enalteceu o comandante português, e foi contundente ao dar pitaco sobre quem poderia desembarcar no lugar dele no Palmeiras: Jorge Jesus.
Também cotado para o cargo de técnico da seleção, o Mister foi elencado pelo ex-lateral como um substituto à altura para o compatriota, que está há quase cinco anos no Verdão, tendo faturado 10 títulos neste período.
“O Abel conquistou tudo no Palmeiras, e o sonho dele é conquistar o Mundial, tem time competitivo para ganhar, se vai ganhar é outra questão, mas acredito que esse é um objetivos. Porque não assinar um contrato com a seleção e se apresentar depois do Mundial?”, iniciou Cicinho.
“É um nome que eu aprovo para a seleção brasileira. Ele pode disputar o Mundial e comandar a seleção, não aconteceu isso com o Diniz? Já tenho a solução para a tia Leila, traga Jorge Jesus para o Palmeiras. Mundial pode ir com o interino”, complementou o ex-jogador.
Palmeiras se manifesta após rumores
Depois o jornalista Lauro Jardim, do jornal “O Globo”, informar que a presidente Leila Pereira já teria dado o aval para a CBF negociar com o treinador português, o Palmeiras utilizou as redes sociais para classificar a notícia como falsa, e prospectou que o comandante está focado em seguir o seu trabalho no clube.
O alviverde ainda reforça a sinalização dada por Leila Pereira nas últimas horas, de que a empresária sequer foi procurada pela entidade que rege o futebol brasileiro.
Cicinho vê Verdão como ‘papa títulos’
Ao repercutir o triunfo do Palmeiras sobre o Ceará, pela terceira fase da Copa do Brasil, no Castelão, Cicinho enalteceu a força do alviverde, e chamou atenção para a qualidade do plantel ostentado por Abel Ferreira.
Na avaliação dele, muito se fala do elenco do Flamengo, mas o Verdão não fica atrás, e neste cenário de força técnica, o time é forte candidato a brigar pelos títulos do Brasileirão, Copa do Brasil e Libertadores.
