“Mi proyecto personal era seguir jugando y empezar a verme como entrenador, y el Como me dio esta oportunidad. Una vez por semana seguía a la Primavera, mientras tanto hice el curso y adquirí acciones del club. Todo lo que había planeado sucedió mucho, muchísimo más rápido de lo que esperaba. Firmé un contrato de dos años y quería jugar durante ese periodo, pero después del primero ya no me sentí con fuerzas. Lo que ocurrió después aceleró el proceso”, explicó después de fichar por un equipo que sufría en la segunda categoría del Calcio tras un año en blanco en el Mónaco.

“Ancelotti hizo un intento cuando estaba en el Nápoles.
