The good news is that we have a date. In addition to confirming the delay, Rockstar has revealed that its new video game will be released on May 26, 2026. Thanks to this, the rumors and speculation are over, because now we know when it will come into our lives.

To a certain extent, the news has surprised us. After all, the Take-Two CEO had commented on numerous occasions that the game was not going to be delayed. Finally, it has not been this way.
Through its official website, the developer has informed that they will not be able to maintain the planned date. Therefore, everything we have been talking about so far is left a little in nothing after the message issued on its official website.
Among other things, they wanted to apologise to their users, stating that this has been “a great lesson in humility for our entire team”
They explained that their main objective was to meet the expectations of the players and that Grand Theft Auto 6 was no exception. “We hope you understand that we need this additional time to deliver the quality you expect and deserve.”
It has undoubtedly been a real blow, as everything seemed to indicate that the game would arrive in November this year. Finally, it has not been this way, so we will have to wait until May 26, 2026.
