Olympic athlete Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens of the Chicago Bears are building their future with their own hands. Their incredible work in their respective sports has led to great individual achievements. Today they are working together for a greater one: their own home.
Goosebumps alert! Simone Biles pulls off a drastic change
The multi-award-winning gymnast gave details about her and her husband’s efforts to build their home in Texas. After several bumps in the road and unforeseen events that have taken longer than they thought, Biles confirmed to PEOPLE that she and Owens have had room for several decisions on how they want their love nest:
I think we’ve done a good collab of what we wanted our house to look like. Hopefully we’ll be able to move in soon.
This opened up an almost inevitable question to ask: when will they move in and start this new adventure? The tight schedules of both is something they have had to deal with and they have been able to adapt to each other’s times. To this, Biles’ response said, “Hopefully very, very soon. We were supposed to be here before the Olympics, but unfortunately we weren’t,” she said. “So we’re waiting for the weather to get better. We’ll see.”
His relationship with Owens
She has been in a relationship with Chicago Bears NFL player Jonathan Owens since August 2020. On February 14, 2022, they announced their marriage engagement and finally, they married on April 22, 2023.

Since then, Jonathan and Simone have shared their home renovations, from marble countertops to a huge walk-in closet.
Of course, they don’t just show off the good, they also show off the setbacks. Like in November 2023, where he shared his regret when he was from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. working on his house and had to ask his dad for help to keep progressing.
In addition, Biles and Ownes also never miss a chance to show how proud and in love they are with each other on social media, whatever the reason.
