Mittelmeer statt Wüste!
Spaniens Europameister Aymeric Laporte plant nach zwei Spielzeiten bei Al-Nassr (aktuell Platz 3) offenbar die Rückkehr nach Europa.
Er war 2023/24 für 27,5 Mio. Euro von Manchester City zum Klub von Cristiano Ronaldo (40) gewechselt und hat noch einen Vertrag bis Sommer 2026. Den will er aber wohl nicht erfüllen, wie die Zeitung „La Provence“ berichtet.
Dabei zieht es ihn allerdings nicht nach Spanien oder zurück in die Premier League, sondern in sein Geburtsland Frankreich.

Weg von CR7: Laporte vor Europa-Rückkehr!
Zwei Spieltage vor Saisonende in Frankreich steht Marseille mit 59 Punkten auf dem 2. Platz. Allerdings beträgt der Vorsprung auf den Sechsten Straßburg nur zwei Punkte.
Laut dem Blatt gibt es bereits seit Januar Kontakt zwischen dem Verein und dem Abwehrspieler, dessen Marktwert innerhalb weniger Jahre von 75 auf 18 Mio. Euro geschrumpft ist.
Demnach soll der Transfer fix gemacht werden, sobald die Qualifikation für die Königsklasse in trockenen Tüchern ist. Wie hoch die Ablöse für Laporte sein wird, berichtet „La Provence“ allerdings nicht.
Marseille hatte bereits im Winter Luis Felipe (28) aus Saudi-Arabien nach Europa zurückgeholt. Der italienische Nationalspieler hatte beim designierten Meister Al-Ittihad keine Spielberechtigung mehr erhalten, nachdem zu viele Ausländer verpflichtet worden waren.
Für Laporte hat sich der Wechsel nach Saudi-Arabien in erster Linie finanziell gelohnt. Sportlich war es eher unbefriedigend. Trotz hochkarätiger Mitspieler wie CR7 wurden keine Titel geholt. Zuletzt scheiterte man im Halbfinale der AFC Champions League an Kawasaki Frontale.
Immerhin kündigt sich für OM ein warmer Geldregen an, um den Laporte-Transfer zu finanzieren. Denn Luis Henrique (23) steht vor einem Wechsel zu Inter Mailand, könnte dem Klub zusätzliche Millionen-Einnahmen bescheren.
