Anna Congdon, longtime partner and now fiancée of Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, made waves on social media this week after posting a striking photo of her all-black date night outfit.
Captured by photographer Sharif Fennell Jr., the look included tailored black shorts, a custom vest top, and a sleek half-blazer. She paired the ensemble with mesh pointed heels and subtle, elegant accessories, proving once again she knows how to command attention without overdoing it.
Her caption? Simply “just dandy.” The style, however, was anything but simple.

Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and a style icon in her own right, commented with three fire emojis, an unmistakable nod of approval in the world of Instagram. The interaction set off a flurry of fan reactions, with many praising the friendship and mutual support between NFL partners. But it wasn’t just Brittany who took notice.
Saquon Barkley shows his love publicly
Barkley, who recently signed with the Eagles after a storied career with the New York Giants, also dropped a comment filled with heart-eyes emojis. His admiration wasn’t surprising, given the couple’s long and supportive relationship that began nearly a decade ago during their college days at Penn State.
In past interviews, Barkley has spoken openly about how much Anna’s presence has meant throughout his career. “I can’t be the athlete I am and have the success I’ve had without her,” he told PEOPLE earlier this year. He described proposing to Anna as more nerve-wracking than his first championship game, admitting, “I’m a lover boy, but I’m simple and basic.”

Anna, a former basketball team captain and now a mother of two, has been by Barkley’s side from day one. Their daughter, Jada Clare, was born just before he entered the NFL in 2018, and their son, Saquon Jr., arrived four years later.
