Kate Middleton’s appearance at the 80th anniversary of VE Day at Westminster Abbey, drew attention not just for her elegant attire but also for her noticeably slim figure. Walking alongside Prince William, the Princess of Wales wore a black and white polka dot dress by Alessandra Rich, complemented by a black fascinator and pearl drop earrings that once belonged to Princess Diana . While she appeared composed and engaged during the service, observers couldn’t help but notice her frail appearance, sparking concern among fans and royal watchers alike.
The concern is understandable, given Kate’s recent health challenges. In March 2024, she publicly announced her cancer diagnosis following planned abdominal surgery . Since then, she has undergone chemotherapy and, as of January 2025, is in remission. The rigorous treatment process has undoubtedly taken a toll on her physically, which may explain her current appearance.

Throughout her treatment, Kate has been candid about the difficulties she faced. She described her cancer journey as “complex, scary, and unpredictable,” acknowledging that the path to healing and full recovery is long . Despite these challenges, she has gradually resumed her royal duties, demonstrating resilience and commitment to her role.

Dealing with something as tough as cancer and still showing up when she can says a lot about her strength. Tennis player who claimed positive methamphetamine test was caused by kiss suspended four years
Goncalo Oliveira, a professional tennis player representing Venezuela, was suspended for four years Friday by the International Tennis Integrity Agency after testing positive for methamphetamine, an agency statement confirmed. The 30-year-old Portuguese-born athlete argued that the positive result came from a kiss, but an independent tribunal rejected his explanation.Oliveira was provisionally suspended in January after an in-competition test at an ATP Challenger event in Manzanillo, Mexico, in November 2024 revealed the banned stimulant in both his A and B samples. Methamphetamine is classified as a non-specified substance under the World Anti-Doping Agency Prohibited List, which carries a mandatory suspension for positive findings. Oliveira's four-year ban, which takes credit for time already served under provisional suspension, will run through Jan. 16, 2029.
