Wird ER Bayerns neuer Verteidiger?
Der FC Bayern soll Interesse an einem Milan-Star haben: Malick Thiaw (23). Darüber sprachen Christian Falk und Tobias Altschäffl in der neuen Episode des BILD-Podcasts „Bayern Insider“. Kehrt der gebürtige Düsseldorfer also bald nach Deutschland zurück?

Thiaw wechselte im Sommer 2022 von Schalke zum AC Mailand in die Serie A. In Gelsenkirchen hatte er den Sprung zu den Profis geschafft, nachdem er bereits bei Gladbach, Düsseldorf und Leverkusen in der Jugend gespielt hat. Mit der Werkself könnte Bayern also ernsthafte Konkurrenz bei einer Verpflichtung des dreimaligen Nationalspielers bekommen. Sollte dieser überhaupt wechseln wollen.
Klar ist: Thiaw will zurück in die DFB-Elf. Mit den U21-Junioren wurde er 2021 Europameister. Beim Rekordmeister zu spielen, würde sicher helfen, sich einen Platz in der A-Nationalmannschaft zu sichern. Der aktuelle Vertrag des Innenverteidigers geht noch bis Sommer 2027. Aber für 25 bis 30 Millionen Euro wäre er wohl zu haben.
In der laufenden Saison absolvierte Thiaw bisher dreißig Spiele für Milan in allen Wettbewerben, erzielte ein Tor. Und wurde dieses Jahr italienischer Superpokal-Sieger mit den Rossoneri.

Gerüchte über einen möglichen Wechsel nach München kursieren bereits seit 2023. Bei den Bayern würde er perfekt ins gesuchte Profil passen: jung mit viel Potenzial und Erfahrung im deutschen Fußball aus seiner Zeit bei Schalke. Mit denen wurde er 2022 Zweitliga-Meister.
Ob die Bayern Thiaw ein ernsthaftes Angebot unterbreiten, bleibt abzuwarten. Ebenso, ob der Verteidiger dieses dann annimmt.
