Will Power’s Indy road course dominance starts with this relationship

Bob Pockrass FOX Motorsports Insider <!--> Will Power enters Saturday's Indianapolis Grand Prix (4:30 p.m. ET on FOX) with more wins in that race than any other driver as he has won five of the 16 events on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course. His engineer, David Faustino, was with him for all of them. Just as he has been for 36 of Power’s 42 victories in INDYCAR, including the 2018 Indianapolis 500.The Power-Faustino pairing, at 16 years, is the longest of any driver-engineer in the garage by far. Granted, the only other full-time drivers in the series that were around for their first full season together in 2011 were Scott Dixon and Graham Rahal. While something could be said about moving engineers around and pairing them with different drivers, it’s hard to argue with the overall success of the Power-Faustino relationship. Warriors vs. Timberwolves prediction, odds: Game 2 best bet as Wolves try to even series with Steph Curry out

Getty Images The Minnesota Timberwolves and Golden State Warriors continue their second-round NBA playoff series on Thursday night in Game 2. The pressure is on the Wolves to win at home before the series shifts to San Francisco. Plus, the Warriors will be shorthanded without Stephen Curry, who is expected to miss multiple games after suffering a Grade 1 hamstring strain in the series opener. Anthony Edwards scored just one point in the first half on Tuesday, but finished with a team-high 23 points. After averaging 26.8 points per game in Minnesota's series win over the Los Angeles Lakers, the Wolves will need him to get going earlier if they want to split the first two games. With Curry out, Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green combined for 38 points in Game 1. But the true Warriors hero was Buddy Hield, who got […]

2025 NBA Draft Combine: Updated prospects rankings and 5 players with something to prove at Combine

Getty Images Cooper Flagg, Dylan Harper, Ace Bailey, Tre Johnson and VJ Edgecombe — in some order for some, in that exact order for me — represent the (mostly-static) top-five prospects in the 2025 NBA Draft. But the landscape beyond the top five is far from settled in this class as the 2025 NBA Draft Combine kicks off this week in Chicago (May 11-18), setting up what should be a big week to help the dust settle and shake out for decision-makers. The lottery is May 12. Those top five have little, or nothing, to prove to NBA teams regardless of how the lottery balls fall this week. But the Combine offers a big chance for plenty — and plenty will need to seize the opportunity.Of the 75 invited participants, I've picked out five who I feel could benefit from big […]
