Belichick has also made crucial additions to UNC’s tight end unit, signing Shamar Easter, a 6’5, 228 lb. former Arkansas tight end ranked as the second-best tight end in the transfer portal according to 247 Sports. Previously, the team relied on Jake Johnson, who had 235 receiving yards in 2023, and South Carolina transfer Connor Cox, but the addition of Easter brings much-needed reinforcement.
