Neste cenário, em caso de outro tropeço, uma salvação do rebaixamento foi atrelada somente ao retorno de Neymar.
“Eu vou falar um negócio para vocês. Eu vou de Santos! Se o Santos perder, pode botar a cabeça dentro do buraco igual avestruz. Para sair dessa situação só com reza ‘braba’, alguma coisa diferente ou o Neymar voltando a ser o Neymar.”, disse Diego Souza, na Central do Pré-Jogo, no YouTube.

Enquanto Neymar segue fora dos gramados, Diego Souza acredita que Soteldo pode assumir o status de protagonista do Santos. Mesmo que o venezuelano não esteja atravessando um grande momento, a presença em campo é vista como determinante para que o Peixe desbanque o Ceará.

“O Sport tem jogado bem e tem um time equilibrado. Precisa melhorar alguns pontos dos zagueiros que não pega o atacante na raiz. Toda hora os atacantes estão girando. Mas eu acho que vai ser a primeira vitória do Sport contra o Cruzeiro.”, opinou.
