The pop singer admitted that he sometimes fears appearing self-centered for fear of being judged or losing the esteem of others. He said that being honest about this trait could have distracted him from his quest to be accepted and included.
“The more honest I am about who I really am, the more freedom I actually have,” Bieber said.
But he doesn’t stop there, as he asks God for change in another Instagram post.
“I asked God to help me see the best in people. Even after being used the way I’ve been. Only God can remove greed and selfishness from our hearts. Trying harder won’t work. Because I tried, haha,” he wrote.
These words come at the worst possible time, as Justin Bieber has been in the eye of the storm all year and many are concerned about his health. The singer has denied using drugs, but some are not convinced.
He has been seen in some photos smoking, to the point that he was caught by fans at Coachella with some strange behavior, causing a lot of confusion and intrigue about his well-being, as it has been a constant theme so far this year.
