Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni remain embroiled in a legal battle that has escalated over time. Lively accused him of inappropriate behavior on the set of It Ends With Us and accused him of orchestrating a campaign to publicly discredit her. In response, Baldoni not only denied the allegations, but filed a defamation lawsuit seeking $400 million in damages for damage to his reputation.

The situation took a rather unexpected turn when Taylor Swift was mentioned several times in the lawsuit. This deeply upset the singer. The discomfort was so great that she decided to end her nearly decade-long friendship with the actress.
Justin Baldoni claims that Taylor Swift attended a meeting with Blake Lively at her penthouse, where she called her and Ryan Reynolds her “dragons,” which allegedly led to the end of their friendship.

According to TMZ, Taylor Swift got her court date on Friday, and not only that, but Hugh Jackman will also get his.
The singer’s team was not happy with the subpoena and pointed the finger at Justin Baldoni for using her name to get attention in the Blake Lively lawsuit.
“Taylor Swift never set foot on the set of this film, did not participate in any casting or creative decisions, did not write the music for the film, never saw a cut or took notes on the film, and did not even see ‘It Ends With Us’ until weeks after its release, and she was traveling the world in 2023 and 2024 headlining the biggest tour in history,” the pop star’s rep said.
The implication seems to be that they are upset because Taylor Swift’s name is being used to generate media attention for the case and have it resolved in their favor, but there seems to be no short-term resolution.
On the other hand, Lively‘s lawyer, Mike Gottlieb, has already told People that he shares the same opinion that Baldoni wanted to get more attention with Taylor Swift’s alleged involvement.
Travis Kelce has already given a ‘reply‘ in a hidden way, thanks to the Internet theories, when he unfollowed Ryan Reynolds, Blake’s husband, on Instagram.
We will have to wait and see what happens in this case, which has attracted a lot of attention, especially because of Swift‘s mentions.
