On Logan Paul’s podcast, the former NFL star expressed that he feared being tackled by Baltimore Ravens players Ray Lewis and Haloti Ngata. The question is, who wouldn’t fear for their life seeing either of these two charging at them?
This was Brady’s response, who is currently the center of attention for every move he makes, both as a minority investor in the Las Vegas Raiders and regarding anything related to his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, who was by his side for most of his career when these former Ravens players were punishing her now ex-husband.
“Ray Lewis was at the top,” Brady said during his podcast appearance. “Ndamukong Suh, I didn’t like getting hit by him. J.J. [Watt] wasn’t very fun to get hit by. Haloti Ngata, you remember him? He was about 340 pounds for the Ravens. He was massive. So, yeah, that’s not fun.”
Ray Lewis is considered one of the best linebackers to ever play in the NFL and remains the all-time leader in tackles in league history. During Tom Brady’s prime, they faced off multiple times.
Throughout his career with the New England Patriots, he faced the Ravens in the playoffs on four occasions over six years, splitting those four matchups.
“When you’re getting hit, there’s a discipline with your physical body that you need to take into account, because if you [fool] around, you’re gonna get hurt,” Brady said. … “You don’t mess around with your training, because you will pay the price. When you got Aaron Donald chasing you, you will pay the price.”
That’s how Tom Brady recounted it, as he hopes to continue being successful in his new role as a minority owner of the Raiders, while also fulfilling his duties as a father, despite no longer being with Gisele Bündchen.
