Nesta segunda-feira (12), Carlo Ancelotti foi anunciado oficialmente como o novo treinador da seleção brasileira. Grande referência da geração no Brasil, Neymar já “aprovou” o italiano e elogiou o trabalho do multicampeão.
“O Brasil vai ter oportunidade de ter um técnico estrangeiro, e o Ancelotti é um cara que ganhou tudo. Então, com certeza nos ensinará bastante”, comentou Neymar em 2023.
O camisa 10 está fora de ação neste momento e se recupera de uma lesão na região da coxa. Ele vem sofrendo com diversos problemas físicos, mas ainda sonha em retomar o melhor ritmo e disputar a próxima Copa do Mundo.
Situação atual de Neymar
Com 33 anos, Neymar luta para voltar aos melhores dias. Ele retornou ao Santos em fevereiro, mas pouco jogou até agora e soma duas lesões neste período.
A nova previsão de retorno é para o dia 1º de junho, contra o Botafogo, na Vila Belmiro. No entanto, existe a chance de Neymar estar disponível antes disso.
Vale informar que a seleção brasileira entra em campo no dia 5 de junho, contra o Equador, já no comando de Ancelotti. É improvável que o ídolo do Santos seja convocado.

Depois de uma longa ‘novela’, o estrangeiro fechou com a seleção para o ciclo visando a Copa de 2026. O comandante deixa o Real Madrid após quatro anos e muitos títulos.
O contrato dele é válido até o fim da Copa do Mundo: “Ele é o maior técnico da história e, agora, está à frente da maior seleção do planeta”, relatou a CBF no anúncio oficial.
O Brasil estava sem treinador desde março deste ano, quando Dorival Júnior, hoje no Corinthians, foi demitido. De modo geral, a seleção vive instabilidade no cargo desde 2022 e durante esses últimos anos teve Ramon Menezes e Fernando Diniz como interinos, além de Dorival de forma efetiva.
