„Bylo fajn dát gól, ale když prohrajeme, tak je to úplně jedno. Je to celé k vzteku. Prohrávat je strašně frustrující. Nedokážeme skórovat. Musíme hrát s větší zarputilostí a dotlačit puk do brány,“ vztekal se po utkání Solberg v rozhovoru pro TV 2.
Norové vyrukovali na favorita s tvrdou fyzickou hrou a zákroky na hranici pravidel. Zároveň se ale dokázali blýsknout i šikovnými kombinacemi a zvládli český tým dostat i pod tlak.
„Norsko herně drželo s úřadujícími mistry světa z Česka krok, což porážku činí ještě bolestivější. Zápas se odehrál za české převahy na tribunách. Kamkoli jste se podívali, vlála tam česká vlajka. Zvukovou kulisu vytvářeli fanoušci loňských šampionů. Na ledě však zpočátku diktovali tempo Norové, porážka s Kazachstánem jako by byla zapomenuta,“ uvádí norský server TV2.
Jak hráči, tak experti ve studiu norské televize vidí jako příčinu nulového bodového zisku špatnou produktivitu norských střelců. Šancí si Norové vytvořili víc než dost.
„Kluci mají jako obvykle problém s proměňováním šancí. Musí je začít využívat,“ kritizoval expert TV2 Erik Follestad.
Podle něj je právě nízká produktivita velkou bolestí norského týmu, za níž může výběr kouče Tobiasa Johanssona na mistrovství světa tvrdě zaplatit. „Musí proměňovat šance. Proti takovým soupeřům jste za to jinak tvrdě potrestáni,“ varoval Follestad.
České reprezentaci se nepodařilo vstřelit uklidňující gól na 3:1 a při závěrečném risku soupeře bez gólmana ještě prožili hodně horké chvilky.
„Byl to od nás velmi dobrý výkon a myslím, že jsme si zasloužili víc. Je hrozně hořké nezískat nic z takhle kvalitního zápasu proti tak silnému soupeři,“ posteskl si 20letý norský forvard Noah Steen.
