A história de Fábio no futebol pode ter mais um capítulo. Segundo informação do GE, o Fluminense já iniciou conversas com o goleiro para buscar a renovação de seu atual contrato com o time carioca, este que dura até o final desta temporada.
Conversas para renovar
O portal aponta que o processo para tentativa de estender o vínculo, que tem grandes chances de ir até o final de 2026 tem andado. É previsto que, na próxima semana, goleiro e Tricolor prossigam com as discussões e deem um maior andamento para definir há chance de que o jogador de 44 anos permaneça nas Laranjeiras.
A questão da idade (Fábio terá 46 anos em 2026) não é vista como empecilho tanto para o Flu como para Fábio, que manifestou sua vontade de não querer parar. O que pode colocar a decisão ainda mais perto de um final feliz para as duas partes é a performance do arqueiro nesta temporada, sendo um dos principais destaques do time comandado por Renato Gaúcho.
