A Fórmula 1 (F1) terá novidades na temporada 2026. Isso porque a Cadillac está confirmada como nova integrante do grid. A escuderia terá que contratar a fim de definir a escalação de pilotos.
Em entrevista concedida ao site alemão Sport, o tetracampeão Sebastian Vettel analisou que Mick Schumacher seria uma boa escolha.
“Desejo a ele tudo de bom. Seguimos em contato. Eu sei como as coisas estão indo para ele na F1. Acho que, se ele voltar, definitivamente terá condições de acompanhar os outros pilotos”, declarou.
Fora da categoria, o sobrinho dos irmãos Michael e Ralf Schumacher está disputando o Campeonato Mundial de Endurance pela Alpine.
“Acho que ele está fazendo um ótimo trabalho. Seria ótimo se ele pudesse retornar à F1 com a Cadillac”, opinou Vettel.
Números de Mick Schumacher na F1
Segundo dados do site Motorsportstas, o automobilista somou 12 pontos e abandonou 5 das 43 etapas que disputou pela Haas, nas temporadas 2021 e 2022.
Desde que saiu da equipe, ele foi contratado para ser reserva de Mercedes e McLaren. Não voltou a disputar provas de F1, mas ajudou em testes com carros das empresas.
“A F1 foi muito difícil para ele na Haas. Mick não se sentia confortável lá, mas ele agora está em um lugar completamente diferente. É um piloto muito mais maduro”, concluiu Vettel.

Guenther Steiner chefiou Mick Schumacher, na Haas. Em entrevista ao podcast Red Flags, o ex-dirigente opinou quais pilotos a Cadillac deveria contratar para a temporada 2026.
“Eu procuraria por motoristas experientes. O melhor para uma equipe jovem é ter pilotos experientes que já tenham feito esse trabalho antes e possam dar a direção correta. Meu elenco ideal seria Valtteri Bottas e Sergio Pérez. Eu escolheria os dois”, declarou.
