Travis Kelce has made headlines again, but this time for the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s subtle online engagement with ongoing discussions about NFL legend Bill Belichick‘s controversial relationship with 24-year-old Jordon Hudson.
Despite being known for his preference for a low profile during NFL offseason periods, the 35-year-old’s social media activity was swiftly picked up by fans; no doubt interested in trying to spy updates about Taylor Swift.

And the star was spotted reacting to a post by Erin Andrews, promoting the TODAY show with a clip in which she spoke about the controversy surrounding Belichick and his far younger girlfriend.
Speaking about an array of topics around the six-time Super Bowl champion, including a focus on the controversial Miss Maine USA appearance, Andrews cast her ballot on her impression of the University of North Carolina Tar Heels‘ head coach.

“He was front row, which I’ve got to say, people have asked a lot and I work with Tom Brady, so I’ve been asking him a lot, ‘What do you think about this?'”, Andrews says in the clip. “Because he knows coach as a coach, and I know coach from being on the sidelines.
“She gets congeniality points if she’s got him showing up front row.”
Andrews continued: “Bill Belichick is royalty, legend. He’s it, he is the Mount Rushmore. I know how he is on the field. He’s very matter-of-fact, you get two seconds to talk to him.”
“I am full-blown stomach cramps when I get ready to talk to him because I don’t want to mess up. And I kind of get excited and I start doing what I’m doing now and talking too much.”
Kelce was then spotted liking the clip on Instagram, although he didn’t give any additional thoughts or opinions beyond that so nobody knows if he’s concerned about the topic of Hudson, or Belichick‘s legacy as an NFL coach.
However, it could show the growing public interest surrounding the 73-year-old and his new beau, who he has been dating since 2024 after splitting up with Linda Holliday in 2023.
But it’s also important to note that Kelce and Andrews are also friends too so this could simply be a sign of support from the NFL ace to someone within one of his closer circles.
Belichick relationship criticized by UNC
Tensions are continuing to rise within the University of North Carolina football program as insiders question the influence of Hudson on the veteran coach as he prepares for his first year in the NCAA.
Belichick joined the Tar Heels last December after decades of NFL dominance, however; staff are reportedly uneasy about Hudson‘s involvement, fearing it could jeopardize his new role.
“It’s just so odd,” one UNC staffer told The Washington Post, requesting to remain anonymous. “And we just don’t know what’s coming. Those two decide what they’re going to do and they do it.
“She is very, very involved in the crafting of Bill‘s projected image, everything you see on Instagram, all of that. I know it’s hard to separate out this image of Bill Belichick and Bill Belichick the North Carolina football coach.
“The football side of Bill and now the public side of Bill have become two different things, and she is in charge of the public side.”
