Após quase um ano de apurações, a Polícia Civil de São Paulo concluiu que mais de R$ 1 milhão pago pelo Corinthians à intermediária do patrocínio da Vai de Bet foram desviados e acabaram na conta da UJ Football Talent, empresa apontada como ligada ao Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC). Segundo o relatório, o clube foi vítima de uma sofisticada operação de lavagem de dinheiro.
O relatório aponta que os responsáveis pelo esquema usaram empresas fantasmas para ocultar a origem ilícita dos recursos. O dinheiro foi transferido da empresa Rede Social Media, do empresário Alex Cassundé, para outras firmas como Neoway, Wave e Victory Trading, até chegar à UJ Football, citada por delatores como parte do esquema da facção criminosa para lavar dinheiro do futebol.
As investigações revelaram que essas empresas estavam em nome de laranjas, como uma empregada doméstica e um motoboy, e registraram movimentações milionárias incompatíveis com suas estruturas. A polícia rastreou depósitos e transferências bancárias entre março e abril de 2024, confirmando que os valores saíram do clube e foram divididos entre os envolvidos no esquema.
Delação de empresário assassinado
O caso, que começou com a assinatura de um contrato de R$ 360 milhões entre Corinthians e Vai de Bet, teve seu auge com a rescisão do acordo em junho de 2024, após denúncias sobre o pagamento de comissões suspeitas. O contrato previa que a intermediadora, Rede Social Media, receberia 7% de cada parcela, o equivalente a R$ 700 mil mensais — um total de R$ 25,2 milhões ao fim do contrato.
A revelação das fraudes amplia a crise no Corinthians e pode agravar a situação do presidente Augusto Melo, que enfrenta quatro pedidos de impeachment, o primeiro deles relacionado ao contrato com a casa de apostas. A votação do Conselho Deliberativo sobre seu afastamento está marcada para o próximo dia 26 de maio.
A origem das denúncias remonta à delação do empresário Antônio Vinícius Gritzbach, assassinado em novembro de 2024 como queima de arquivo, segundo a polícia. Ele afirmou que empresas como a UJ Football e a Lion Soccer Sports eram usadas para lavar dinheiro da facção por meio do futebol.
Corinthians nega irregularidades
Durante as investigações, Cassundé afirmou que descobriu a Vai de Bet após pedir dicas ao ChatGPT e que não cobrou por sua participação. Dirigentes do clube, como Marcelo Mariano e Sérgio Moura, negaram qualquer envolvimento irregular e disseram que a documentação do pagamento foi enviada pelo próprio Corinthians.
Paralelamente, a fintech 2Go Bank, presidida pelo ex-policial Cyllas Elia — também citado na delação de Gritzbach — negociava com o clube um projeto de banco oficial. O acordo previa exclusividade por 10 anos e pagamento de R$ 100 milhões em luvas. A proposta foi descartada pelo clube em fase inicial de seleção.
O Corinthians declarou não ter responsabilidade sobre movimentações fora de suas contas e reiterou que o inquérito corre sob segredo de justiça. A defesa de Marcelo Mariano sustentou que ele jamais recebeu qualquer benefício econômico do contrato e agiu com total legalidade.
