Although her name continues to be linked to news of her ex-boyfriend and new partner, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, Kayla Nicole is looking to make her own way.

Earlier this month, the influencer attended Beyoncé‘s “Renaissance” tour at SoFi Stadium. Two weeks later, Kayla shared photos from the concert and left everyone dazzled with her style.

Sporting a denim jean mini skirt, crisp white shirt, black cowgirl boots and hat, and vibrant blue jewelry, Nicole stole the show.

She accompanied the post with three horse emojis and the message to her 838 thousand followers and the rest of the world was subtle but forceful: she is the one who takes charge of her life and her style.

Kayla’s path

She had decided some time ago that she was not going to be simply “someone’s ex” and in her social networks she usually leaves messages in this direction, accompanied by songs that reaffirm her statement.

In a guest appearance on the podcast Second Wind, Kayla had mentioned that although she doesn’t consider herself “a celebrity”, she is certainly “a public figure”. However, she mentioned that her interviews are not always genuine: “You sit down and you do an hour-long interview with someone and the headline is maybe a one sentence that you said of, ‘Yeah, I was heartbroken and devastated because I went through a breakup and that’s the headline,” she said.

“Like, ‘So-and-so’s ex is devastated still and she’s sad and she’s depressed,” Nicole continued. “It’s like, ‘Damn, girl, did you listen to anything? I am human and I take it with a grain of salt now. One day they’re going to have to stop calling me someone’s ex.”

The truth is that Nicole owns her own podcast “Pre-Game” where she shares chats with guests as you would before watching a game.

She has also been able to grow in the fitness world, as Kayla is the founder of Tribe Therepe, a fitness brand focused on mental wellness in addition to physical wellness.

Without a doubt, Kayla is much more than “someone’s ex”.
