Ex-Bayern-Star Lúcio (47) scheint wenige Tage nach seinem Brandunfall auf dem Weg der Besserung zu sein.
Das Hospital Brasilia, in dem der Weltmeister von 2002 liegt, gibt am Wochenende leichte Entwarnung. Er ist „stabil, bei Bewusstsein und wird von einem multiprofessionellen Team betreut, das auf die Behandlung von Verbrennungen spezialisiert ist. Die Verletzungen wurden verbunden und er macht gute klinische Fortschritte“, heißt es in einer Mitteilung des Krankenhauses.
[–>Der Brasilianer hatte sich am Donnerstag bei einem häuslichen Unfall Verbrennungen zugezogen und wurde umgehend ins Krankenhaus eingeliefert. Seitdem liegt er Berichten zufolge auf der Intensivstation. Schuld für die Verbrennungen war laut der brasilianischen Zeitung „O Globo“ die Explosion eines ökologischen Kamins.
Wie schlimm die Verletzungen sind, ist bislang jedoch nicht bekannt.
Der Innenverteidiger und Ex-Kapitän der brasilianischen Nationalmannschaft spielte ab 2001 in der Bundesliga für Bayer 04 Leverkusen. Drei Jahre später wechselte er für eine Ablöse von 12 Mio. Euro zum deutschen Rekordmeister.
