Aber warum gerade United? Carreras spielte bereits von 2017 bis 2020 im Nachwuchsbereich der Madrilenen, wechselte dann aber in die U23 von Manchester United. Erst 2024 – nach mehreren Leih-Stationen – wechselte er zu Benfica.
[–>Aber: Beim Verkauf von Carreras ließen die United-Bosse eine Rückkauf-Klausel über 18 Mio. Euro in den Vertrag aufnehmen. Das spanische Portal „Defensa Central“ berichtet jetzt, dass Manchester in Absprache mit Real bereit ist, diese Option zu ziehen – um Carreras dann anschließend für 35 Mio. Euro an die Königlichen zu verkaufen.
Ein Geschäft, das sowohl dem Premier-League-Klub als auch dem spanischen Spitzen-Verein gefallen dürfte.
