Em programa esportivo “G4”, da Bandsports, o comentarista Paulo Massini analisou a situação do Palmeiras no Brasileirão. Após mais de 4 anos no comando, o treinador Abel Ferreira foi alvo de elogios pela ofensiva da equipe e a liderança na competição.
Massini rasga elogios a Abel Ferreira
Durante a análise, o jornalista destacou que o Verdão apresenta bom futebol na maioria das partidas e mesmo naquelas em que não brilha, garante bons resultados. Massini destacou a importância da vitória por 2 a 1 contra o Red Bull Bragantino e o aproveitamento impressionante no Campeonato Paulista.
Massini abriu o jogo sobre a importância de Abel Ferreira no elenco: “O Palmeiras teve a montagem desta proposta para o ano sendo construída e acho que com atraso, sendo que poderia ter sido montada já no ano passado, já em dezembro. Não é simples (…). Em tese, o Palmeiras vai ter até o final do mês, todo o elenco à disposição”.
O jornalista destacou as importantes mudanças no mercado da bola do Palmeiras que renderam jogadores de peso no banco de reservas. O que fez com que o Palmeiras buscasse a vitória no duelo contra o Red Bull Bragantino. Massini completou: “No intervalo, entra um treinador que é muito diferente. O Abel Ferreira é muito diferente. O que ele fez? (…) Ele que mandou o João Martins fazer, ele coloca o Luighi e o Maurício para jogar. Qual era a dificuldade do Palmeiras? Palmeiras estava sem profundidade”.
Massini repercutiu que Abel Ferreira escalou Maurício para ficar nas costas dos volantes do Bragantino. A tática faz com que Luighi seja segundo atacante, permitindo a passagem com Piquerez. Para o comentarista esportivo, a mudança tática “embolou” o Massa Bruta e foi fundamental para os gols da virada.
Não há dúvidas de que o treinador português já é um ídolo para a torcida do Verdão. No comando do Palmeiras desde 2020, Abel Ferreira acumula 10 títulos conquistados até o momento, fruto de 188 vitórias, 75 empates e 57 derrotas, completando um aproveitamento de aproximadamente 66%.
