Victor Wembanyama took the opportunity that the off-season provides to travel to Arlington, Texas, to attend the Dallas Wings vs. the Seattle Storm at College Park Center. Wemby showed out to support French 19-yeard-old Storm’s rookie Dominique Malonga, but he didn’t even tried to show some support for Paige Bueckers, the No.1 pick overall in the 2025 WNBA Draft and one of the most exciting players to watch this season.
However, the giant took some pictures with the No. 2 pick overall in the 2025 WNBA Draft, becoming the youngest player in franchise history and the third youngest to ever play in the league. Malonga is set to make history as Seattle hopes that the forward/center can make a big difference on the team.
As for the game itself, the Seattle Storm beat the Dallas Wings 79-71 with forward Nneka Ogwumike leading the way with 23 points and 18 rebounds, while Skylar Diggins and Gabby Williams combined for 38 points to power the team to a road win.

The future is looking bright for the San Antonio Spurs with Victor Wembanyama leading the way and one of his teammates being unanimously selected to the 2024-25 Kia NBA All-Rookie First Team: flashy guard Stephon Castle.
The 2024-25 Rookie of the Year becomes the 13th player in Spurs franchise history to earn the honor and is the third consecutive Spur to receive All-Rookie recognition, following Jeremy Sochan in 2023 and Victor Wembanyama last year.
Castle appeared in 80 games during his rookie campaign, averaging a rookie-best 14.7 points to go with 4.1 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 0.91 steals. He led all first-year players in total points, made field goals, total steals and made free throws.
