Em junho, o contrato de Neymar com o Santos se encerra e, em caso de não haver renovação de vínculo com o meia-atacante, o jogador poderá ficar livre para assinar com outros clubes. No entanto, um de seus ex-times não estaria mais interessado em uma volta do jogador, neste caso o Barcelona.
Físico é preocupação
Uma informação publicada pelo jornal Sport aponta que o Barça ‘teria desistido’ de tentar trazer de volta o brasileiro assim que seu contrato com o Peixe fosse encerrado. O motivo de tal mudança de planos tem a ver com as recentes lesões sofridas pelo jogador em seu atual período na Vila Belmiro, e preocupações com o estado físico do camisa 10.
Na análise blaugrana, Neymar não estaria ainda na forma física ideal para poder perfomar conforme o desejado pela equipe catalã, além de temores com possíveis lesões que possam acontecer. Outro ponto ao qual teria afastado o Barcelona é que a produção do jogador no Santos está abaixo do que esperavam, com o atleta ficando longe das marcas ofensivas que projetavam.

Vinha de Joan Laporta, atual presidente do Barça, o principal ‘garoto-propaganda’ para que houvesse o interesse na volta do meia-atacante ao Camp Nou. O que se informava na imprensa europeia era que, assim que o brasileiro deixasse o Peixe, os blaugranas ofereceriam um contrato de uma temporada ao ídolo do clube, visando deixá-lo fisicamente e tecnicamente apto para a disputa da Copa do Mundo de 2026, a grande meta do jogador. Estimava-se que o atleta receberia 10 milhões de euros em salários.
Os planos dos catalães em ter Neymar também podem ter ficado mais distantes de serem realidade pela ascensão de Lamine Yamal, grande destaque do time na temporada. Campeão da última Eurocopa e um dos astros do recente título de LaLiga. o jovem atleta ganhou protagonismo e sua renovação é uma das prioridades do Barcelona nesta janela de transferências.
