O Brasileirão já teve diversas trocas de treinadores neste início, como é de costuma. Um time que já trocou o comando técnico é o Santos, que demitiu Pedro Caixinha e trouxe Cleber Xavier, ex-auxiliar de Tite.
Porém, o Peixe ainda não venceu com o novo treinador. Foram quatro jogos, sendo dois empates e duas derrotas. Um empate, porém, pode custar uma eliminação, tropeçando em casa diante do CRB, pelo jogo de ida da terceira fase da Copa do Brasil.
No programa “Jogo Aberto” de hoje, o ex-jogador Edu Dracena criticou o atual momento do Santos, entendendo que Cleber Xavier está devendo. Então, o comentarista disse que se o time for eliminado da Copa do Brasil e perder novamente no final de semana, o treinador pode acabar sendo demitido.
“O Santos até melhorou um pouquinho com o Cleber Xavier, mas a gente esperava mais, até pelo tempo que ele teve para trabalhar. Eu acho que se ele não ganhar hoje (do CRB) e não ganhar no domingo contra o Vitória, ele não continua no Santos. Eu acho que não, a gente vê melhorar muito pouco”, disse.
Edu Dracena usa Fernando Diniz como exemplo
Na sequência, o ex-jogador do Peixe citou o técnico Fernando Diniz, que chegou no Vasco recentemente e já conseguiu bons resultados.
“O Santos tem que contratar reforços, mas a gente viu o Fernando Diniz chegando no Vasco e já ganhando com aquele time, por que o Cleber não pode fazer o mesmo no Santos? Então, a cobrança tem que existir, sim, e o Santos está em um momento delicado no Campeonato Brasileiro, tem só cinco pontos”, finalizou.

O Alvinegro é o penúltimo colocado do Campeonato Brasileiro, com cinco pontos conquistados. O time tem uma vitória, dois empates e seis derrotas. No domingo (25), às 18h30, enfrenta o Vitória, fora de casa.
