Caitlin Clark engaged in a heated exchange with Rhyne Howard and didn’t back down: “I’m not scared of you”

What an incredible game the Indiana Fever and the Atlanta Dream gave us! It was a thrilling match full of intensity and spectacular plays that kept everyone on the edge of their seats until the very end.

In the end, Caitlin Clark‘s team emerged victorious with a narrow margin of 81-76. It was a sweet victory after losing 90-91 last Tuesday.

Caitlin Clark commits a huge foul over Angel Reese in order to defend her teammate

Both games were absolutely crazy. These matchups continue to elevate women’s basketball.

In addition to the great game that Atlanta and Indiana gave us, another moment quickly went viral on social media: Caitlin Clark got into a fight with Rhyne Howard of the Dream.

Game Recap: Sparks vs. Mercury (5/21/2025)

Caitlin Clark argued with Howard and didn’t stay quiet

Yes, you read that right. As strange as it may sound, the Indiana Fever star lost her patience.

During the opening minutes of the game, Howard found herself face-to-face with Clark as she pressed in transition.

The confrontation heated up when Howard was called for a foul after aggressive contact. Things quickly escalated. There was pushing between the two players, and Rhyne didn’t hesitate to give her rival a challenging look.

“I’m not afraid of you,” Clark allegedly said to Howard.

“Caitlin Clark and Rhyne Howard will surely not end up on the timeline.”

“Oh, Lord. Rhyne Howard took on Caitlin Clark. Please don’t turn this into another speech.”

“Rhyne Howard and Caitlin Clark are watching this blow up. Those girls are de** to me. They love each other. I can’t take them seriously. Hahaha.”

These were some of the comments posted on social media.

In reality, Clark‘s strong clash and confrontation were normal; they were losing the game at the time, although it was still early.

The curious and funny thing about all this is that less than a week has passed since the fight with Angel Reese. It seems that Howard got the better of Clark, who showed a side of herself that few know.

Both players have a lot in common. The Atlanta Dream player has already been named an All-Star and Rookie of the Year, and Clark has achieved the same. There’s no denying that they put on a great show in an amazing game.
