Was gelang.

Hamilton declares new-style F1 cars ‘more enjoyable’ to drive

Lewis Hamilton said he was finding F1's new-style 2026 cars "more fun" to drive after an encouraging start to pre-season for Ferrari at the Barcelona shakedown. The seven-time world champion made no secret of his dislike of the last era of cars from 2022, which featured ground-effect aerodynamics, saying towards the end of last season that there was "not a single thing I will miss about these cars". The 2022-2025 era coincided with Hamilton's least successful period in F1, with the Briton outscored by his team-mates (George Russell at Mercedes and Charles Leclerc at Ferrari) in three of those four seasons. But F1 has moved to nimbler, narrower chassis with more conventional floors for reduced downforce for 2026 as part of a wholesale rewriting of the the technical rulebook. After completing 209 laps in Ferrari's new SF-26 across three days of running […]

Welcome to Super Bowl 60! The greatest party in sport is here

It was on June 11, 1962 that Frank Morris and the Anglin brothers staged one of the most daring and infamous prison breaks in history, breaching the maximum security confines of Alcatraz to disappear into the San Franciscan night.Their fate remains a mystery, but the tale lives on as a stalwart beacon of Bay Area folklore, the ensuing eeriness of Alcatraz Island neighbouring the opulence of the Golden Gate Bridge as pillars to the stage of Super Bowl 60. Now bear with us while we botch an attempt to shoehorn Alcatraz analogies into footballing narrative, for a story of fortress defiance meets an NFL finale of defiance when the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks fight for the Lombardi Trophy at Levi's Stadium on Sunday. It had been an escape built on precision planning, execution and deception. Where Morris and […]

Grading the 10 NFL Head Coaching Hires: From John Harbaugh to Klint Kubiak

The last time the NFL welcomed in 10 new head coaches was 2022, and four short years later, eight of those 10 have already been fired. So at least this year’s group of 10 can’t possibly be worse, right?Time will tell, of course. But for now, here’s the FOX Sports ranking of the 10 new head coaches hired in the 2026 cycle, complete with a very early grade for each.Did the Cardinals accidentally pick the wrong coordinator off of Sean McVay’s staff? The NFL world was buzzing at the start of this cycle about the potential for Rams defensive coordinator Chris Shula to be the next great coach off the McVay tree. Instead, the 38-year-old LaFleur leapfrogged him. Maybe the Cardinals saw something others didn't in his two unremarkable years as the Jets offensive coordinator directing eventual draft bust Zach Wilson?Or […]

Men’s College Basketball Rankings: Florida, Illinois Climbing; Purdue Falls

This is the most interesting men's college basketball season I can remember in the past 15 years. This freshmen class is incredible. NIL means that talent is staying put and the quality of play I’m watching is fantastic. What's more, the race for the top-4 seed lines of the NCAA tournament has never been more compelling. Here’s the latest edition of my men's college basketball rankings, as of Feb. 1.*Note: Miami (Ohio) is 22-0, but its strength of schedule is 332nd in the country. The RedHawks are a great story, but I’m not sure that I'll rank them at all this year. Being undefeated is cool and all, but you have to put it into context.
