What is the prize money for the winners?
Winning the Indianapolis 500 is a dream for any driver and an incredibly lucrative reward that grows year after year. Since 2022, the total prize pool has grown from $16 million to $18.5 million. Prizes have catapulted champions to receive between $3.1 million and $4.3 million.
For the highly anticipated 2025 edition, the prize is expected to reach nearly $20 million, with the winner taking home between $4.5 and $5 million. This will further cement the legend of this iconic race.
