Las condiciones económicas de los españoles siguen sin ser las necesarias para que los ciudadanos afronten la estabilidad necesaria. Esto se traduce en reducción de sus gastos mensuales y, a su vez, en un descenso de ventas de todos los establecimientos, ya sean textiles, ultramarinos, hogar, salud y cuidado personal, tecnología… Todos se han visto afectados.
Uno de los principales damnificados de esta situación ha sido Alcampo. El famoso supermercado ha puesto en marcha un plan de ajuste para afrontar el cierre de 25 establecimientos en territorio español. Este acuerdo supone el despido de hasta 710 empleados, o lo que es lo mismo, el 3% de su plantilla, ya que está conformada por 23.300 trabajadores.
Parece que la decisión no tiene vuelta atrás y Alcampo efectuará el cierre en los meses que quedan de este año. Hace apenas unos meses, la compañía adquirió un paquete de 224 supermercados a la venta con la justificación de “aumentar la cercanía de Alcampo a sus clientes”. Lo cierto es que las características de los mismos no se asemejaban a lo que buscaba la empresa y, apenas un tiempo después, se demuestra con el cierre.

“En este camino de transformación es fundamental recuperar los resultados y asegurar un crecimiento sostenible en todas y cada una de las tiendas. Es por ello que Alcampo pone en marcha un plan de ajuste de plantilla, una decisión que aunque difícil, es responsable y necesaria”, apuntan como otros motivos para la decisión tomada.

La Vega
Majadahonda
Castellón
Albacete
Sanlúcar
Jerez
Sevilla Este
No serán los únicos, pues Alcampo ya ha dejado claro que detrás de estos se procederá con otros supermercados de Madrid, La Rioja, Cantabria, Navarra, Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla y León, Galicia, Aragón, Asturias y País Vasco.
