Felipe Melo não quis condenar Rayan pela provocação feita em Fluminense x Vasco. Após o gol de João Victor, o atacante fez um gesto com a mão, representando a letra C, cenário que desencadeou uma confusão entre os atletas. Neste contexto, o comportamento de Guga em cobrar o camisa 77 também foi aprovado e, caso o ex-jogador estivesse em campo, uma reação semelhante iria ocorrer.
“O Rayan fez um ‘C’ para a torcida do Fluminense. Isso faz parte do futebol. Ele tem mesmo que sacanear. O Guga fez muito certo de ir lá e cobrar.”, disse Felipe Melo, em vídeo no Instagram.
“Eu não vou ser hipócrita. Se fosse comigo e eu estivesse dentro de campo, eu faria o mesmo. Mas isso é futebol. Faz parte do futebol.”, acrescentou.
Rayan banca provocação
Demonstrando personalidade, Rayan deixou claro que, desde a base, ironiza o rebaixamento do Fluminense para a Série C. Sem mostrar arrependimento, o jovem do Vasco vê uma situação atrelada à rivalidade no futebol.
“Sim, fiz um “C” sim. É uma provocação, é do jogo, então clássico é assim mesmo. Eu faço essa provocação desde a base, então, no profissional eu não vou mudar a minha personalidade, então é assim mesmo. Clássico é sempre jogo quente, faz parte do futebol.”, externou.

Além de cobrar Rayan, Guga assumiu o status de protagonista do clássico do Brasileirão. Participando diretamente do gol de empate, o lateral-direito, com um chutaço de fora da área, garantiu o triunfo do Fluminense, algo que fez Felipe Melo enaltecer o camisa 23.
“O segundo tempo foi de domínio total do Fluminense. Me impressionou a pressão pós-perda do Fluminense. Perdia a bola e vinha três ou quatro jogadores recuperar a bola em questão de cinco a sete segundos. O Guga, grande nome do jogo, fez um golaço e jogou muito. Não podemos deixar de falar do Arias, que é o motor do Fluminense, mas palmas ao Guga, que deu assistência e tirou o coelho da cartola com um golaço.”, elogiou.
