Nur noch theoretischer Natur sind die Aufstiegs-Chancen beim HBW Balingen-Weilstetten, der den TSV Dormagen knapp 29:28 besiegte. Die Balinger haben bei noch zwei ausstehenden Partien drei Punkte Rückstand auf Rang 2.
[–>Noch dramatischer ist die Lage im großen Keller der 2. Liga, der schon beim TuS Ferndorf auf Platz 9 (!) im Erdgeschoss beginnt. Ferndorf und die Eulen Ludwigshafen auf Abstiegsplatz 17 trennen gerade mal vier Punkte.

Im Raum zwischen Ferndorf und Ludwigshafen zittern alle Klubs vor dem Abstieg, der durch einen pikanten Vorgang mitentschieden werden könnte. Dabei geht es um den „Acht-Mann-Skandal“ beim Spiel des VfL Lübeck-Schwartau gegen den HC Elbflorenz am 23. Spieltag.
Lübeck erzielte damals den 33:33-Ausgleich in fast letzter Sekunde mit einem unbemerkten Mann zu viel auf der Platte. Dresden verpasste im Anschluss den Einspruch gegen die Spielwertung, deshalb ist aus einem bösen Regelfehler quasi eine Tatsachen-Entscheidung geworden.
Lübeck-Schwartau läge ohne den mit grobem Regelverstoß geholten Punkt gegen Dresden wegen der schlechteren Tordifferenz aktuell auf Platz 17 hinter den Eulen aus Ludwigshafen.

NWSL approves intra-league loans and increases spending resources for expansion teams
In a rare midseason change to its rules, the NWSL announced authorization for teams to loan players within the league effective immediately. The announcement coincided with guidance on the roster-building mechanisms applicable to the impending launches of Boston Legacy FC and Denver NWSL in 2026.With this change, teams may now loan players to another NWSL club beginning with the upcoming secondary transfer window, which runs from July 1 through August 25. The loans will not impact a player’s annual salary, with part of the negotiation process determining how much of their wages will be covered by the club acquiring the player.
