A hard blow for Indiana Fever and for the fans: this Monday, May 26th, it was confirmed that Caitlin Clark will have to stay away from the courts for at least two weeks due to a left quadriceps strain.
This was announced by Indiana Fever through its official Instagram account and left all fans sad and worried about her health condition. However, the team assured that she will undergo further evaluation in the coming days.

The news could not come at a worse time, but Indiana will have to face Washington Mystics without CC next Wednesday, May 28 at CFG Bank Arena. But that wouldn’t be all, because if she meets the team’s estimated time frame, in two weeks she could miss four games before her possible return on June 10 in Atlanta.

The first game she will miss is the one on Wednesday, May 28 against Mystics as we mentioned before, but it would not be the only one.
Caitlin would watch from the bench the game against Connecticut Sun on Friday May 30 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse Indianapolis.
In addition, he would miss again a game against Washington Mystics on June 3 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse Indianapolis.
But the game that would hurt fans the most is on Saturday, June 7, when the Chicago Sky would host Indiana at the United Center Chicago. Yes, we might miss the chance to see Angel Reese vs. Caitlin Clark.
If all goes well, CC would return on Thursday, June 10 against Atlanta Dream at The Gateway Center Arena @ College Park.
Clark will be missed
Coming off a 2-2 record in four games played, Caitlin Clark and her team fell to Atlanta Dream in the second game of the Fever schedule 91-90 and most recently to New York Liberty 90-88.
While the losses are by meager points, if they want to taste victory again, the team will need to redouble its efforts to try to cover for Caitlin’s absence while she recovers from her injury.
Clark is averaging 19.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 9.3 assists, 1.3 steals and at least one block per game, shooting 40.3% from the field and 31.4% on three-pointers.
