Neste domingo (25), o jogador do time carioca levou a melhor no ‘duelo’ com o paraguaio. Em campo, a equipe comandada por Filipe Luís venceu o Verdão por 2 a 0, no Allianz Parque, e diminuiu a distância para um ponto.
Léo Ortiz, elogiado por Flávio Prado, foi eleito um dos melhores em campo. Além de seguro na defesa ao lado de Léo Pereira, o atleta se destacava também pela saída de bola com extrema qualidade, funcionando em alguns casos até como volante.

Com o resultado de ontem, o Flamengo evitou que o Palmeiras pudesse abrir sete pontos de vantagem na liderança do Brasileirão. Portanto, o Rubro-Negro alcançou os 21 e hoje está na cola do rival paulista. O Verdão também colocou o Cruzeiro na disputa, com 20.
Agora, a equipe carioca se prepara para o duelo decisivo com o Deportivo Táchira, no Maracanã, valendo vaga nas oitavas de final da Libertadores.
“Conseguimos diminuir a distância, continuar ali em cima, brigando com eles. Sabemos que será uma disputa acirrada até o final. Agora é focar na decisão que temos no meio de semana e depois no último jogo do Fortaleza em casa. Conseguir estas duas vitórias para ir bem para o Mundial”, afirmou Ortiz.
Recentemente, Léo Ortiz recebeu efusivos elogios de Zico. Maior ídolo da história do Flamengo, o ex-camisa 10 admite que ficou surpreso com a qualidade do zagueiro que foi contratado junto ao Red Bull Bragantino.
