Fórmula 1 hoje: Carlos Sainz da Williams pede investigação contra Racing Bulls no GP de Mônaco

Carlos Sainz não saiu nada satisfeito do GP de Mônaco de Fórmula 1, apesar de ter marcado 1 ponto no circuito de rua. E a fúria do piloto da Williams tinha “endereço”: a Racing Bulls.

“Nós pilotamos no mesmo ritmo nos mesmos estágios da corrida”, esbravejou o piloto do carro 55, após a prova do último domingo (25).

Ele se utilizou da tática utilizada pelas Racing Bulls de Isaac Hadjar e Liam Lawson para explicar sua fustração.

“Fomos vítimas (do comportamento deles). Lawson perdeu 40 segundos, de propósito, para permitir a Isaac fazer os dois pit stops e terminar em quinto”, concluiu Sainz.

Piloto participou de tática semelhante na Williams

Mas tal opinião pode soar esquisita, já que Carlos Sainz se utilizou de tática, no mínimo, semelhante com Alex Albon para que ambos também terminasse na zona de pontuação no principado. Albon terminou o GP de Mônico na 9ª posição.

E uma das equipes que sofreu com a estratégia do time de Groove foram as Mercedes de George Russell e Kimi Antonelli.

“Ele (James Vowles, chefe de equipe da Williams) me mandou uma mensagem durante a corrida: ‘Desculpa. Não tínhamos escolha, dado o que aconteceu à frente’”, disse Wolff ao site da revista Autosport.

Precisou fazer isso.”, completou o austríaco, chefe da Mercedes. Russell cruzou a linha de chegada no 11º lugar, enquanto Antonelli terminou na 19ª posição, três voltas atrás do vencedor.

Norris vence corrida; Bortoleto é o 14º

Lá na frente e longe das polêmicas, Lando Norris levou sua McLaren a vitória com Charles Leclerc sendo o segundo e Oscar Piastri a bordo da outra McLaren fechando o pódio. O brasileiro Gabriel Bortoleto da Sauber foi o 14º, duas posições a frente, de seu companheiro, Nico Hulkenberg.

Quando a F1 volta

O fato é que os carros voltam a competir no fim de semana dos dias 31 de maio e 1º de junho no GP da Espanha, em Barcelona. A prova é a 9ª etapa do mundial.
