Englands Coach kritisiert die Königlichen!
Real Madrid droht der monatelange Ausfall seines Stars Jude Bellingham (21) – und Englands Nationaltrainer Thomas Tuchel (51) platzt deswegen der Kragen!
[–>Der Mittelfeldspieler soll sich laut übereinstimmenden Medienberichten nach der Klub-Weltmeisterschaft (14. Juni bis 13. Juli) einer dringend nötigen Schulter-OP unterziehen. Die Verletzung zog sich Bellingham bereits im November 2023 gegen Rayo Vallecano zu, dort hatte er sich die Schulter ausgekugelt. Seither spielt er mit einer Bandage unter dem Trikot. Aus Sicht von Tuchel ein Unding!
Der England-Coach, seit diesem Jahr im Amt, kritisiert Reals Umgang mit der Gesundheit seines Schlüsselspielers: „Jude hat viele Monate – vielleicht sogar viel zu lange – mit diesem Problem gespielt“, sagt Tuchel in der britischen Times.
Und weiter: „Er spielt mit dieser riesigen Schulterbandage unter dem Trikot. Aus rein medizinischer Sicht hätte die Operation schon gestern stattfinden müssen. Aber wegen der Bedeutung, die Jude hat, wird sie immer wieder verschoben.“
Tuchel wirft den „Königlichen“ vor, die OP bewusst verschleppt zu haben, um Bellingham im Saison-Endspurt und der Champions League einsetzen zu können. Die Entscheidung sei „immer wieder hinausgezögert worden“. Auch jetzt soll der Eingriff erst nach der Klub-WM erfolgen – eine offizielle Bestätigung von Real oder dem Spieler steht aber noch aus.
Nach der Klub-Weltmeisterschaft soll der Eingriff erfolgen, um eine vollständige Heilung zu gewährleisten – mit der Folge, dass Bellingham mehrere Monate fehlen dürfte.
Heißt: monatelange Pause im Anschluss an das Turnier in den USA. Bitter für Real – und für Tuchel! Denn der 21-Jährige ist nicht nur Leistungsträger bei den Madrilenen, sondern auch im englischen Nationalteam unverzichtbar.
Damit steht auch England vor neue Herausforderungen im Hinblick auf die WM-Qualifikation.
