Com o afastamento de Augusto Melo após o impeachment sofrido por este na última segunda-feira, quem assumirá o cargo de presidente do Corinthians de forma interina é Osmar Stábile. O dirigente deu suas primeiras declarações sobre a situação vivida pelo clube, e estas não são muito positivas em alguns termos.
Em entrevista coletiva, Stábile comentou o atual momento financeiro do clube, no qual citou viver ‘terra arrasada’. O presidente interino do Timão admitiu que o clube ‘não tem dinheiro’ em seus cofres e que a prioridade deste momento é de tentar resolver a situação, mesmo que esta não seja imediatamente sanada.
‘Terra arrasada’
“Primeiro, a gente tem que começar pela questão financeira, jurídica e administrativa. É ‘terra arrasada’ porque temos que pagar alguma coisa e não tem dinheiro. Onde está o dinheiro? Não tem. Temos que correr atrás para conseguir”, disse Stábile
“Temos que mudar essa situação. Não temos uma varinha de condão para mudar de imediato. Precisamos de trabalho e dedicação para que a gente resolva os problemas. Temos período curto e, com arrojo, vamos resolver os problemas. Não será de imediato”, completou o novo presidente corintiano.
Profut preocupa
Stábile apontou que uma das prioridades para a nova diretoria do Corinthians neste momento é arcar com dívidas mais imediatas. Uma delas relacionadas ao Profut, que tem uma parcela de R$ 3 milhões a vencer e algumas outras atrasadas. O temor de exclusão do programa de refinanciamento de dívidas com o governo deixa a situação com ainda mais necessidade de ser resolvida.
“Não podemos ficar com três parcelas atrasadas do Profut. Vence agora uma parcela de R$ 3 milhões que a gente tem que pagar. Fomos no caixa e não tinha”, afirmou o dirigente.
