O domínio madrilenho vai além do campo. Mesmo diante da instabilidade econômica da última década — marcada por pandemia, inflação e mudanças na indústria do futebol — o clube dobrou seu valor desde 2016 e lidera em receita operacional (€ 1,065 bilhão). É também o único entre os grandes da Europa a registrar lucro líquido acumulado positivo nos últimos dez anos.
A modernização do Santiago Bernabéu, que quase dobrou as receitas de dias de jogo (agora em € 251 milhões), impulsionou ainda mais o desempenho fora de campo. A conquista da LaLiga e da Liga dos Campeões em 2023/24 completou a temporada histórica.
Logo atrás no ranking, o Barcelona aparece na quarta colocação, avaliado em € 4,459 bilhões. Apesar do crescimento, o clube catalão convive com alto custo de pessoal e prejuízos contínuos — desde 2015, o Barça acumula perdas de mais de € 200 milhões.
Outro espanhol no top 10 é o Atlético de Madrid. Com valorização de 217% desde 2016, o clube atingiu € 1,873 bilhão em avaliação. Ainda assim, segue com resultado líquido negativo e mais gastos do que receitas no mercado de transferências.
