Bei der Challenge-Serie des Influencers treten die Teilnehmer gegen Weltklasse-Athleten an – geht der Erfolg an den Athleten, wird das Geld für wohltätige Zwecke gespendet. Gewinnt der andere Herausforderer, erhält er den Preis.
[–>Die Formel-E-Wette: Anfang des Jahres trat Ticktum in Miami gegen Ronnie, einen Freund von MrBeast, an. Der Formel-E-Fahrer musste vier Runden auf dem Miami International Autodrome in der Zeit absolvieren, die Ronnie für drei Runden benötigte.
In den vergangenen Jahren engagierte MrBeast mehrere Sportlegenden, darunter Serena Williams, Stephen Curry und die Fußballlegende Neymar. An der Serie nahmen bereits Namen wie Cristiano Ronaldo, Tom Brady und Bryson DeChambeau teil.
In einer von Cupra Kiro veröffentlichten Erklärung sagt Ticktum: „Weltweit, aber vor allem im Vereinigten Königreich, gibt es meiner Meinung nach keine Entschuldigung für die Art und Weise, wie einige Veteranen und Menschen, die für unser Land gekämpft haben, behandelt werden.“
Und weiter: „Im Vereinigten Königreich fließt das Geld oft an die falschen Stellen, und ich finde, Veteranen sollten viel mehr Unterstützung erhalten. Deshalb habe ich mich entschieden, an Help for Heroes zu spenden, eine Wohltätigkeitsorganisation, die ich für ihre Arbeit sehr schätze.“
